Princess-with-the-shining-What-you-call-it;-

I am wearing the new invention on my collars with great delight. It works fine. Neck tie doesn't slide around towards my ear - and front of collar stands up nicely. Mama says it makes the Old Man look 10 years longer! Just like shaving Santa or giving Edgar Bergen a wig! Thank you ever so much for the little gift. I shall wear it regularly and think of my Sweet Infant whenever I put it on.

Mama and I are as busy as a whole hive of bees. Type writing fortunes and putting them into walnut-shells, pasting the shells together and adorning them with ribbons - and making peanut butter fudge, 7 or 8 lbs. of it. The fudge is to be sold on the E.L. Candy Booth.

How did you enjoy the trip to Belchertown? I remarked to Mama that we were busy with nuts here and that you were studying them there.

Which of the pictures on the enclosed coupon do you want? Please mark it, and return to Father P.D.Q. (as the supply is limited).

The war is getting more and more exciting with the Russians chasing the Germans - and Uncle Sam discovering that Siam and Turkey are our front line of defense. Well, at any rate, we are recognising the fact that we are our brother's keeper; and that is in the right direction. Consider Isaiah 19:23-25.

Your doting
Papa.
