Naugatuck, ConnecticutDear little Girl:
Rec'd your welcome Special and Papa sent to-night a check to Childs so they will probably get it to-morrow afternoon. They are certainly - a gentleman's firm. We were sorry to hear about the perfume - but we think you were lucky - to have so little taken in the time you have been at College - but you will have to be on the look-out - and be kind of careful about your pins etc.
Papa and I were delighted with your B. in History.
I am enclosing a check for $5.00 Papa says that will pay for the Lab fees - or rather for the Soci-trip - and $1.00 to replace the bottle of perfumery - that was "swiped" - and a little bit over - so that you won't be quite "destitute". Glad the "date" was O.K. Will close now in haste.
Love from the bunch.
Mamma.P.S. Papa has written to the N.Y. Edu. Society.
