A Letter written on Nov 17, 1941

Dear little Girl:-

Thank you ever and ever so much for the lovely perfume. I love it - I put some on to-night when I went out to supper and didn't it smell good. The last "mais oui" you gave me of course is all gone - and I was sorry when I used up the last drop. Before I forget - I am enclosing time-table. The train that is best - leaves 4.05 from Holyoke - connecting with the train that leaves Hartford at 5.20 - reaching Waterbury - 6.25.

Received your letter this A.M. was glad to get it, and to hear all the news. Papa says he can teach you to learn dates - with a system he used to use. We are all excited - first time in my life that my birthday - and Thanksgiving came to-gether. I know now how you feel about Christmas. Will close now - have 150 letters to address for mail in the morning.

Good-night and thank you. Love from us all -

Mamma-

Nov. 17, 1941.

P.S. Papa will meet you at Waterbury Station at 6.25.
