Our sweet, sweet Junior:-
So Miss Tatlock is beginning to show proper appreciation! 'Tis well. 'Tis swell.
I am writing in the dining room and Mama is perfecting her musical opus in the parlor.
The Queen is in the parlor composing sounds of beauty;
The King is in the eat-ery doing his epistolary duty;
The Child is in Mt. Holyoke polishing her brain -
And when this letter reaches her she'll laugh with might and main.
The Fair is over - and most of the congregation is on its back, gasping for breath. I called on Mrs Fairbank today, and found her laid up with shingles. She wanted to be remembered to you. It would be nice to drop her a card.
My shoes are 8 1/2 or 9. The size is sufficient to balance the development at the other end. The Scriptures commend men of good understanding.
Did the coat reach you O.K.? I guess it must be quite wintry in South Hadley. It has been quite slippery in Naugatuck. But the last couple of days have cleared it up nicely.
We are counting the days until the parsonage shall be irradiated with the joy-inducing presence of our Child.
