A Letter written on Feb 6, 1940

Feb. 6, 1940

Dear Bessie,

I am sorry I could not answer your letter sooner. But my Mother has been in the hospital for a few weeks, it has keep [sic] every body in our family very busy. We are just settling down a little now, sense [sic] Mother came home last Sat.

Will [sic] I have missed Sunday school the past few weeks, but I hope to be their [sic] next Sunday to take care of my little Darlings.

Will [sic] how is every thing at school, did you pass your Chem. quiz?

You will learn to skate next year that is if I have any thing to say about it.

I hope you will excuse the writing. I must close now and take an examination in my Air Conditioning Course. Well I hope to see you or hear from you soon.
