My own dear little Girl:-

Just came from the Doctor's. He was delighted with the progress of the foot. It is weeping just a little - all the skin on the front of the toe was loose - and he took it all off and underneath it was new, healthy skin - I was in hopes that I could go to church to-morrow but he said "no - better wait". I am to go back in 2 weeks - or thereabouts. No Sugar in the urine - I knew how glad you would be with the progress. All of your skirts are home now and we will send them on Monday. Had to wait - as they finished them one by one. Will send the jacket with them. Found you had left your green umbrella - here. Do you need it?

Was so delighted to receive the two letters and the good news that you can come home. Do not worry too much about your exams. We can go over them the Fr. and Gr. when you come home. I think it would be a good idea to send a postal to Charlie and to Earl - with something like this. "So sorry to have missed you." also to Gertrude and to Doris. Do this right away. so it will not be "stale news". The addresses - are

Yale Divinity School
    Yale University
        New Haven, Conn.

Earl Walker
    51 Salem.

Gertrude Hopkins,
    205 Campbell Ave.
        West Haven.

Doris Brown
    193 - Hallock Ave.

Papa is ready to mail this. Will continue this letter - to-morrow.

Love. Mummy.
