January 25 1941

Dear Bessie

Received your letter and was glad you wrote to me.

I got up this week and put on dress for the first time. I am very week [sic] and my dress I can prop [?] around me, my currets [?] I had pins in around my waist, so large[.] We had a lot of snow last night and very slippery to-day next week will be the 1st of Februery. [sic]

I am glad you like the pocket book; well it will not be long before spring[.] best wishes for you and good luck in your school work[.]

I still have the nurse; but the doctor is through[.]
