Greetings! After a couple of grips with grippe - your Pop is feeling fine. Yesterday morning the sun shone - and for the first time in a week my spirit said, "Bring on your wild-cats!" So old Abu-ràmu (Father of the Faithful, Contemporary of Hammurabi, etc) did his part.
Worry not concerning the glasses. If I were you, I should take them back to the man, and say (just as Mama would) "Wot'n 'ell do you mean by busting my specs?" Treat 'em rough! You know that there was nothing wrong with the bridge until he monkeyed with it. If you require reinforcements take along some large athletic and forceful damsel. Get the idea?
Mama and I have just returned from the funeral of my old friend W. G. Griffin of the Westville Church - the man with whose assistance Mama put on a temperance program two years ago. He died on the way home from Conference on Friday.
I am inditing this epistle in Naug. P.O. - and Mama is writing one in the car. So you will get 2 literary masterpieces in 1 envelop.
