A Letter written on Dec 31, 1932

Watertown Conn.
Dec. 31, 1932

Dear Bessie,

How can I thank you for the darling spoon from Quebec? It is simply lovely of you to send me it. I spent some time trying to make out the French underneath the dog, you see I am not very far along with my French.

How are you? I haven't heard anything from you for ages!

I am going to Saint Margaret's School on Chase Boulevard in Waterbury. Perhaps you remember it? I like it awfully well though it is very hard. I am a freshman this year, I can't remember what you you must be in this year.

Did I have my dog when you were here? I have a darling Samoyede. [sic] If I could find a picture of him I would send it.

Give my love to your family
Loads of Love
Jeanne Hickcox
