Dear little Girl: First of all, I am enclosing a clipping published in Monday's paper [no longer with the letter] - that I thought would interest you. Isn't it nice? Papa and I thought that maybe you would like to talk over your schedule for next year - before your interview - so we thought it would be a good idea - to have Papa go up - by train to the college - on Saturday - Papa will arrive at Holyoke Station at 9.53 - He will take the Bus over - and stay to lunch - at the college - and leave Holyoke on the 4.14 (this is the famous train that only runs on Saturday). That will get Papa home early enough - to get a good rest - before Sunday. He will take up your clean dresses with him - What do you think of that idea? We thought it would be nice to have Papa eat at the College etc. etc. So glad you had a good time at the Prom. Papa and I think it would be a good idea to write Dan. It would be best to invite him right away - and then he could arrange it. You said the dance was on the 19th - that is a Monday - was that date correct?

Love and a big kiss from
Mamma.

P.S. Be sure and keep clipping M.
