Dear little Girl:

I was just addressing the envelope for this letter, when along came the Post man. I was not disappointed for in he came with your welcome letter. I certainly was proud of your B+ as I know Papa will be. He left for Conference yesterday morning on the 8.09 so the Quartet are keeping house - all by our lonesomes. Am so glad you heard from Dan. I was wondering about it to-day.

Papa is staying with Aunt Emma. John Foster couldn't preach for Papa - but got one of the other students - I take Conf. Sunday off. Went to the Dentist's - on Wed. and left your white dress - and blue & white muffler to be cleaned. It is a beautiful day here, almost ideal - except for a little chill in the air.

Will close now - and post this - at the corner[.]

Have a good time - and remember me to Dan -

Your loving
Mamma -

P.S. Like the idea of the "Union" M.
