Dear Bessie,

You were too good to us all this Christmas. Bobbie was so enthusiastic about her blocks. She loves to pile them up and ahve someone knock them down. Art is trying to teach her to count and say her A.B.C.'s So far he hasn't accomplished much.

Art was very pleased with his tie. He loves blue and likes that style very much.

The pin is so cute and will be perfect with my new suit. Thank you for everything.

We had a lovely Christmas which we spent in Yonkers. Bobbie had a wonderful time and didn't seem to get tired at all.

She got a dollcoach, wicker cradle and dresses, shoes, socks, pulltoys, and a cute crocheted dog.

Bobbie and Lewis are flying to Bermuda on their honeymoon. I guess she is very happy.

Did you know that Audrey Rushworth is married and now in Los Angeles. Also Jewel Quimby got married and is out West now.

Dad was Santa Claus for the primary & cradle Roll groups in the Sunday School. You would have laughed to have seen Bobbie go up to him and stare. Then when he held out a package she turned around and ran back to me. Everyone thought it very funny.

You must come up and see us some time. We are hoping to build on this summer but we always manage even now to have company although I don't guarantee the Navy cots which we are forced to use if we have more than 3 - at any rate you know you are always welcome.

Thank you again for your gifts
Happy New Year

Love,
Marion
