A Letter Written on May 19, 1941

Rev. Dr. William M. Nesbit
15 Frederick Street
Naugatuck, Connecticut

Dear little Girl:-

So glad to receive your letter about the dance - that was a letter that certainly pleased your mother. Papa has just returned home from Conference. We were reappointed to Naugatuck. I was pleased - for we are not quite ready to change. I didn't want to be sent to Long Island - in your Senior Year. Mr. Hancock says his daughter has a teaching job in a private school - gets 1400 - a yr. and the Provost Girl - has a teaching job already - near Portchester. That looks encouraging - Will close now. Pop is waiting to post this and hit the hay.

Love from the quintet.
Mamma.
