A Letter Written on Jan 2, 1938

Hurlock, Md.
Jan 2nd 1938.

Dear Bessie,

I was glad to hear from you once more. Have you decided yet where you are going to College? I'll bet you have picked out a nice one.

We have a new principal this year - Mr. Otis Trice. I don't know whether you know him or not. Mr. Sowers has stopped teaching temporarily and is in insurance work. I think, though, he expects to go back to teaching next year. He is doing it chiefly on account of his health, I imagine.

I had a nice letter from Miss Covey this Christmas. She seems to like her work very much. Now she is in Beaver College, Jenkintown, Pa.

Miss Warren is still with us and so is Mrs. McClellan. They are about the only ones, I imagine, who were here when you were.

I am sure you had avery nice Christmas, and I hope you will have a very pleasant year. Are you going to keep on with your Latin in college? What are you planning to do when you finish school? I hope that you may have great success in whatever you are planning to do.

Sincerely -
Ruth B. Mills.
