My dear Miss Turner:
Miss O'neill [sic] has made a quick recovery but will be in hospital another week. Thanks to immediate antitoxin, the disease was checked at the start. I saw her this morning; she was cheerful and humourous, as usual.
It was very nice to have you in Boston, even for a moment. I hope you will come again very soon.
Be careful not to get too tired. It is the best, if not the only, precaution against the results of social contacts.
Yours faithfully
W. T. Porter
