Lady dear,

Excuse the mixed stationary [sic] & also handwriting. From Chicago west one finds beautiful trains & smoooth roadbeds, conducive to an harmonious train of thought. There is so much I want to talk to you about. I am seriously considering going up to So. Hadley between Christmas & New Years. Both you and Miss Ball have given me standing invitations. I'm sure you can divide me amicably between you.

I have had a very successful week in Colorado speaking 13 times in 5 days to county medical society. Med-students of Univ. of Colorado, faculty of same gave me a luncheon at which I spoke on educating the medical student in behavior study. I also spoke [to] the state P.H. nurses & at the annual convention of the Col. Educa. Assoc. twice to the Amer. Assoc. of Univer. Women, at Denver & Colorado s[...]s. Besides speaking I inspected hospitals & Med. Sch. with Dr. Ries, Dean & Prof. of Phys. Great chap too.

Then the Supt. of Denver schools spent an A.M. showing me around. Visited the Juvenile Court & ancient home of Lindsy. Friday we drove 218 miles thro' matchless beauty of 10 to 11000 ft. A snow had fallen the night before & loaded twigs & branches of silver spruce. What a country & air & people!

I am now en route to northern N.Y. where I land at 10 P.M. Tues. as guest of Estelle Gerard Thomas (1928). Speak in Rome Wed. P.M. A.A.U.W. gives me a chair [?] in Utica that night. I speak in Utica at 8.30 P.M. Wed. taking the midnight back to N.Y. & Balto. It has been a long hard trip but distinctly worthwhile.

My dear love to you. I hope your made over corset is helping you.

Esther
