Dear Miss Turner,

I could weep to think of your coming here while I am away, but I suppose there is no help for it. I feel I must go home for Father has been alone all winter except for the "help." Our vacation is from Apr. 1st to 8th. I expect to leave Monday or Tues. night (29th or 30th) & reach home next A.M. if the Prof. is willing. This gives me a full week at home.

As to staying here, you are more than welcome. We have an extra bed, but it seems so inhospitable to run off & leave you & I do so want to be here! Miss Meagan will be here, at least night & A.M. She may be working by then, but she is not now. I'm sure you'll like her. We have our breakfast in the rooms & get it ourselves. And even if she leaves before you're up you can find things easily, or there are little restaurants a block or so away. If I were only here to do things for you! Please write at once & say you'll come when I am here. I don't know when I'll see you again. And I wanted to give gossip & scandal. Damn it! What a blow!

Love
Esther
