A Letter written on Jul 16, 1920

July 16, 1920.
Sherborn, Mass.

Lady dear,

Of course I'd like to go, but I prepare August for my annual baptism of Grace in the arrival of my maternal parent. That means I must be back Monday the 26th. So far July has been a drive & August will be a Hell of a drive. Someday I shall rest & let down. Just now I don't see my way clear. I have had but one real vacation & that was the four weeks I spent with father in N.Y. state.

I'll be glad to see you even if only for a minute. I have no time table but I'll appear as soon as possible Sat. 24th. I'll go directly to Faculty House & wait for you. Must leave Monday. You & Miss Foss arrange to go Monday.

Much love,
Esther
