Dear Dr. Richards:-

Miss Turner gives a very distinct history of several attacks of what is a sacroiliac or lumbo-sacral strain over a period of years. The most recent disability which she had is not associated with any unusual strain that we can find. Her physical examination is negative except for the pain and discomfort of which she complains. Apparently all of her postural deformity has been corrected. I am inclined to feel that it is one of those instances where the chronic strain has lowered thetissue [sic] value. She has a hypertrophic arthritis and the simple treatment of the chronic strain will not be sufficient. I am advising her to see Dr. Slack regarding her tonsils which look suspicious, and we are also having x-rays made of her teeth.

Very sincerely yours,
G. E. Bennett.
