Dear Doctor Turner:

It pleases me to have you feel free to ask me to write in your behalf and I have just sent a letter to Miss Speek of the American Association of University Women. I have no hesitation in backing you to the limit and will always stand ready to do so. I trust that you will receive an award from one or the other of these two foundations. I personally would very much like to work with Doctor Krogh.

We are finishing our work today preparatory for a two weeks vacation. As for myself, there must be some work done in that interim in that I have promised to get out two papers.
