A Letter Written around Oct 7, 1905

My dear Miss Stetson.--

I meant to leave some message for you before I left Mt. Holyoke. I did not decide to go until eleven o'clock and then went in a great rush. I might have stayed and worked off my conditions but my father was not willing as he thought it would be too hard for me. Thank you very much for taking me to the reception and for offering to take me to the meeting on Sunday. I enjoyed the reception immensely.

I suddenly decided to come here to North Adams to school for a time and will come to Mt. Holyoke next September.

Thanking you very much for your kindness to me and regretting that you will not be there next September I am

Very sincerely yours,
Helen Urquhart.
