A Letter written on Oct 1, 1877

Colorado Woman Suffrage Association
Office of Chairman of the Executive Committee,
Denver, Col., Oct 1 1877.

Dear Friend

I enclose the little bit of rennet, which I hope will be of use to you. A small strip cut fine, and sit with a tea spoonful of warm water, and left over night, will bring the curd in a few minutes. So it will, with a very little soaking, if it is pressed with the finger. In this way, it can be made in 20 minutes.

I went my round in safety. Had no meeting at the Beers [?] School. There had been no notice. But the others were good full meetings.

Tomorrow is the eventful day!

With kindest regards to all

Lucy Stone

The tea and the fruit served me well.
