A Letter written on Oct 19, 1930

Dear Miss Turner;

I am actually at Dublin. Today is Sunday and I shall spend a part of my time sight seeing. I am going to visit Rodunda Hospital which is most noted for her Materinity [sic] and Child Welfare Work. We in China are just starting this form of work and we are anxious to have some light on this subject. From here I go to Edinburgh and London. After leaving London I shall come to Copenhagen. There was a light change of time since I wrote you last. I shall arrive at Copenhagen October 31st by way of Esbjerg. American Express representative will meet me at station that morning at 7:50 and shall go direct to Hotel Terminus.

So far I have enjoyed seeing some thing of Ireland- her mountains, her seacoasts, her wooded holls [sic], her river valleys, her green fields. People here are so freindly. [sic] I met a Mr. and Mrs. Clarke on train yesterday. They live here at Dublin. They are going to take me out sight seeing tomorrow. This is the city of civic spirit indeed.

When I see you face to face I would be able to tell you all my interesting events on my way. I can hardly wait to get to Copenhagen. By this time you have well started in your studies and experiments.

With love.

Yours lovingly,
M. I. Ting.
