My dear Miss Turner:-This is Soo Yin's address; Mrs. R. S. Yin, 8 Yung Teh Li, Tipperary Road, Tientsin, China. I would suggest that you type your address so the postman would have no difficulty in locating it. She lives quite out of the city and her house is hard to locate.
It is indeed a sad event to have our friend go. I remember Miss Smith well and her smiling cheerful face. I wonder if Miss Smith had a thorough physical examination before she started her journey. Every one should have a yearly examination including blood pressure, blood and urine. Our dear Dr. Vaughan left us last week and there will be a memorial service tomorrow. There is so much sickness in this world. My thought goes to you. Do not get too tired in our work. Fatigue lowers our resistance.
My spring vacation comes April 11th to 21st. I hope to come and visit you then. For Christmas vacation I am going to be with Dr. McLean and her sister. Dr. Tsao's niece is also a student at this university. She is going down to Saint Louis with me. She looks quite like her aunt and Dr. Mclean would certain [sic] enjoy her presence.
Do not feel that you have to answer my letter. When I have afew [sic] minutes between periods I often use my time in talking to my friends.
With much love,
Yours lovingly,
Me-iung.333 East Washington Street,
Ann Arbor, Michigan.
