My dear Miss Turner; This is just to wish you a very happy journey. The last month has been a busy one for most college people. I have finished my work at this university. It has been a most pleaseant year for me in everyway. The Michigan Alumnus wants to write something about my work. I do not deserve all credits given me. I owe my success to my professors and friends who have given me encouragement. I never can forget the encouragement that you gave me when I was so discouraged in Organic Chemistry. I feel very happy to have had this year for study as well as change. I am encouraged to do a little more for my country on my return.
I was glad to have Mount Holyoke Telescope. To my great surprise I found my picture in the same number with yours. I like your picture so much. I am sure that you are going to have a good year at Copen hagen. If chance permits I hope to see you again.
With the same mail I am sending you a small scarf. It is made of a piece of our soft silk. I hope it will be useful to you at times. This little note brings you much of my love.
Bon Voyage, Au revoir.
Yours lovingly,
M. I. Ting.333 East Washington Street,
Ann Arbor, Michigan.
