A Letter written around Oct 16, 1929

My dear Miss Turner;

Your good letter came this morning. My answer to you tonight will be just a little note.

I have started my work under Dr. Cowie. He is at head of our Pediatric Department. I have only ten hours lecture or seminary work in mornings. In afternoon, I study up cases in our Wards. Just now I am working in our boys' ward. We see many chronic cases of all kinds here as this is a state hospital. Patients are here for long time and we have chance to study them carefully.

Soo Ying only sent one cushion cover to Miss Dickenson. Twin cushions and a silver card case are for you from Me-iung.

In regard to my coming I prefer spring vacation. In case my niece should come this coming fall then I would wait until fall. I am still planning to go to Europe after my year here. I want to stay one month with my niece as to start her on right track. As soon as I know definitely of my spring vacation I will let you know.

With much love.
Yours Lovingly.
Me-iung Ting.
