September 12, 1915.My dear Miss Turner:-
Thank you so much for your answer to my letter. We came back home yesterday morning. I wish you can see my tan face now. I look so dark, but it is a sign of good health.
I expect to leave St. Louis either on 20th or 21st of September.
I talked my plans over with Dr. McLean & I think we have decided that I should stay one more year in Mount Holyoke College. I have to make some changes in my program for the rest year. [sic] I shall appreciate your suggestion and advice as to how I can make the most of my year in college.
I heard Dr. McLean say that she is going to write to you about me. She is a very busy doctor; so I really do not know when she is going to do it.
This is my last week at home. I shall be busy getting ready for college. I think you remember the days of your college, how many things one has to get and to make in order to last a year.
I had a most delightful vacation this summer. I am glad you are away for a while.
I shall talk over with you of my plans when I get back to college.
With my best love to Mrs. Turner and a great deal for yourself.
Yours Sincerely,
Me-iung Ting.
