Nov. 24, 1921.My dear Miss Turner;
I appreciate greatly of your letter. It is to my regret that I can not talk to you personally. It is impossible to leave my valuable service. To-day is only Thursday and I have done eight tonsillectomies. Friday I shall have five pairs and Saturday four pairs to take out. Every hour is important to me now. I am here only to Jan. 1st. 1922.
I am going to cable this coming Saturday. The cable shall be something like this:
"Secure assistant to August. if impossible. cable."
When Dr. Tsao's answer comes, I shall proceed to decide definitely.
To-night I can not write much as I was up all night last night.
With love,
M. I. Ting.
