A Postcard written around Apr 25, 1918

Dear Miss Turner:-

I just finished studying my lessons. There are a few minutes left yet - just enough time for me to write a card to you. I want to thank you for letting me to [sic] keep that book for so long. My chemistry professor wanten [sic] me to write that subject on Food so I did. I sent three papers to you. You can throw them away after reading for I have duplicates. The paper on Tobacco - I wrote that purposely - for my professor smokes and the latter is going to read my paper. The one on "What a Chinese girl should know before going abroad" is for my school. paper in China.

I am enjoying my work. We go to hospital twice a week now; so I begin to feel like a young doctor with my stethoscope in my pocket. We only use it in class. Then we also examine normal persons outside of class periods and then repeat.

With love.
M. I. Ting
