Sunday Night [Jun 13, 1920]My Dearest Family,
This has certainly been an exciting and busy time. The Seniors have kept us pretty busy and they must be wrecks. All the old alumnae and families are here and it certainly is exciting to see them. Lots of families of course and they are awfully interesting. I will just tell you all about it soon.
Vespers were simply wonderful tonight and I've managed to get seats. The music afterwards was lovely. I never saw so much happen in so short a time.
Commencement is Tuesday morning and we want to see that if we can - and I guess we can get a seat as it is to be in S. A. H. We don't know what train we will make but probably the 1.57 or 2.32 which of course leave an hour later but they get into Philadelphia the same time, as the time hasn't been changed there has it? We get all mixed up getting the time straight. If anything happens and we don't get off earlier I will come home early Wednesday morning but as far as I know now we will come Tuesday but please don't waste time meeting me as I might not come on Tuesday anyway and Wayne always misses something anyway and I don't want him to do it again and I don't [want] Mary or Gladys to bother as I'm not sure what we'll do.
It certainly is exciting to have so many people and cars around. The class of '81 and some of '82 are in Byron Smith and they are funny old ladies. Their husbands are their principal occupations. I haven't seen many [...] people and nobody that I know.
The Senior Serenade was simply lovely last night, I never saw anything so beautiful. There have been step-exercises, which have been rather sad, and there is most everything tomorrow, ivy exercises etc. We have to be there to sing of course and look after the Seniors' families.
Just heaps of love to you all and it certainly will be heavenly to see you all. I'm game on the fire extinguishers and I hope Reg is to. [sic] Anything that doesn't take much mentality will be acceptable now. Just heaps of love and see you all Tuesday or Wed.
