Lower Falls
History
I believe the one labelled "Lower Falls" is the waterfall at the Mandelle bridge, and the images labeled merely "The Falls" is the small waterfall near Willits nowadays.

Translation courtesy of Enis Turcan: "Friday 15, 1935 My dear sister, I have received your 17th letter on Thursday, but the 16th one I have not received. I suppose that it has been lost. I am very well. The weather is not so cold anymore. Snow is not so much like before. At this night I have to work and this is the reason that I can not write a letter to you. I have sent two magazines to Semsi. I have received the registered letter from him. He wants me to write him in English, so he could learn a little bit. Regards, Leman Avni"

"Dear Aunt Hattie:- I got here without losing my purse or suitcase or umbrella and found my room all newly papered. It looks just lovely. I wish you could see it. Every one is more than excited to get back & we are having great times meeting the new girls. I don't know yet how my fruit stood the journey. I shall write you a letter later if I do not hear from you first. J. A."
