"Dear Aunt Hat - Guess there is no need of me writing a letter after the long one Edd wrote Sunday. Hope it didn't cause a relapse! We are delighted to hear such good reports from you. Love, Amy. Expect May down tomorrow."

"How would you like a boat ride recived [sic] your card all righ [sic]. I an [sic] fellig [sic] good and how is the old boy Will write a letter latter [sic] Marcus." Poor Marcus - obviously not feeling very well at all, no matter what he said!
