I have several appointments and the last few days I must rest to get ready for my teaching. I shall enjoy coming some Saturday this fall if it will be convenient for you all. Significant card; talking about the aftermath of the Williston Hall fire and the departments that had to relocate to other buildings. "Dear Sylvia, It was pleasant to receive your Christmas Greetings and I wish you all sorts of nice things for this coming year. I am glad you are in such an interesting job. Yesterday I paid the Zoo. Dept a visit in their new quarters in the Assembly Hall. Several tables arrived while I was there & they are all as smiling as a basket of [chips?]. Miss Turner has taken the room under the chapel. Botany is partly in the Plant House. Mr. Hayes in the attic of Skinner. Miss Talbot in the Library, so that [...] is going right along. The Senior Steps still remain & they are to build a temporary building one story [...] using the old foundations & walls. Best wishes M. A. Chase."
