Mount Holyoke College circa 1895

History

This little album has lost its tie binding and does not have numbered pages, so it may not be intact. Eight photos remain inside this album with its handpainted cover. There are no dates on the pages, but from the contents we know it dates between 1894 (when Village Church burned down) and 1896 (when the Seminary building burned down). In this album, the church is shown being rebuilt, so I have tentatively dated it 1895.
