![[Rebecca Smith House]](images15/RebeccaSmith01.jpeg)
The Rebecca Smith House was built in 1930 and named for Rebecca Smith, class of 1873 and also the librarian of Gaylord Library. It served as student housing from 1930 to 1933. It is now faculty housing. I had no images of the Rebecca Smith House in my collection, so I took these photos on September 7, 1998.
I was not immediately able to locate the exact house. According to an old map, it is one of the three houses pictured above. This is a closeup of the gray house, and this is a closeup of the blue house. I ruled out the yellow house because its shape did not quite match the silouette of the Rebecca Smith House on the 1987 historical map of the campus.
