Willits-Hallowell Center

[Willits-Hallowell Center]

History

Willits-Hallowell Center was built in 1975, and named for major donors Dorothy Willits Hallowell, class of 1928, and her husband H. Thomas Hallowell. I had no images of Willits-Hallowell Center in my collection, so I took the above photo from the parking lot and this one from the bridge near the pump house, on September 7, 1998.

I am taking you at your word and writing less often - right now I'm very busy. The season has started with a bang! Spent two days here at a workshop on raising funds for our class gift at our 50th Reunion. Enjoyed it thoroly. [sic] This place like a luxury hotel. Saw Connie Rowley [MHC 1981] for 20 min. or longer - a lovely girl - Much love - Mary"
