History
These books are unique. They are diaries, journals, and class notebooks. Autograph albums, photograph albums, and scrapbooks are documented elsewhere.

- Common Place Poetry (1841)
- Scan is of the inside first page; the cover is plain dark green paper. The pencil at the top of the page was added by an antique dealer and is not original to the document.
- A small diary kept by Sarah D. Tolman x1843, dated Jan 1841.
- Some poems possibly original; mostly about death and mourning.
- Ledger/Notebook of Lois W. Rice 1845 (1845-1846)
- Handwritten ledger for the Missionary Society of Marietta Female Seminary
- also included several lists inspired by her Mount Holyoke days:
- Diary of Anna E. Bliss 1862 (1880s)
- Musical notation, poetry, copies of letters, dried flowers, etc.
- "Worcester Mt. Holyoke Alumnae Association" (1893)
- A Travel Journal by Cornelia Clapp (1886)
- A collection of eleven entries written by Cornelia Clapp 1871 as she traveled by steamboat from New York City to Antwerp, Belgium with other Mount Holyoke professors and alums
- According to the journal, the entries were split and sent to her two sisters, Hattie and Mary, and her brother Charles

- Helen Paige Shackley x1905 had this binder for her history notes; alas, the notes themselves have not survived
- The back cover, inside, shows a list of 24 student names; her classmates? "6 Wilder Tues & Fri 9. 9.30" - is that where and when the class met?
