The May Miller Letters

[Letter]

History

These letters are related to May Alice Miller 1905. She is corresponding with her sister Theodora, her friend Anson Wood Belding (who she will eventually marry a few years later), and Anson's sister Martha Belding. The letter from Anson revealed she had invited him to her Junior Prom. The letter to Theodora revealed that May did attend the prom, but unfortunately it did not mention if Anson was her date. The letter to Theodora also has a good description of the class basketball competition, and a serenade between Mount Holyoke students and Amherst Students outside Wilder Hall.
