The Anna Harris letters

[Envelope]

History

These letters written by Anna Harris to her nephew, Reverend Kazlitt Arvine. Arvine was born in 1819, but I cannot find any information about his parents to track down Anna Harris. I assumed she was older than he was, as she spoke about "feeling the infirmities of age" in one of her letters. I found her in the 1850 South Hadley census, where she was listed as being 70 years old. She speaks of the Seminary in her letters to her nephew, but does not seem to be a member of the Seminary community.
