The Bessie Nesbit Letters

History

These letters were written to Bessie Nesbit and saved with the Nesbit family papers. The collection was sold on eBay in 2009 one letter at a time, and I was able to reassemble only the letters that were addressed to or from Bessie. Most of the letters are written to Bessie from her parents, who enjoyed discussing current events with her. They clearly loved her and wrote nearly every day and visited with her frequently.
