The 1941 Bessie Nesbit Letters

History

Bessie Nesbit finishes out her junior year and begins her senior year. Toward the end of the year, the war effort has begun and there is often discussion about the war in the letters Bessie's parents write to her. Her father enjoys doodling on his letters to Bessie, and with his words and his drawings he shows his extreme love and pride in his daughter. Both parents are very interested in their daughter's studies and are quick to praise her grades and decisions.
