The Rosina Lyon Letters
History
There were several sisters in the Lyon family that attended Mount Holyoke Female Seminary, but the connection with these letters is Rosina Lyon, a niece of Mary Lyon, the founder of the Seminary. These letters give an interesting glimpse into Seminary life.
