A Letter Written on Oct 21, 1962

Oct. 21, 1962.

Dearest Sue Ellen:

Enclosed is $5.00 which you will probably need toward your trip to Cornell. I trust you received my letter of Friday with enclosure.

I was to Temple Friday nite and was happy to see your Daddy & the Rabbi leading the procession with the Torah and all the children following. I went with Harriet and her children, Uncle Max had a cold so he stayed home. Thank God he is O.K. now.

Mother stopped in for a moment yesterday afternoon. She told me the Kestenblatts are with her for the weekend, using your room.

Aunt Ruth & Uncle Sanford are at the Concord for the week-end with 3 - other couples; her neighbors.

Mr. Cohn, Sr. is staying at Ruth's home. It was wonderful of you to write to Mrs. Cohn, Aunt Ruth & all were so pleased.

I read your letter to Aunt Harriet & Hannah. They want to be remembered to you. Hannah wishes you every success in your college career, Good Health & Happiness, etc.

I hope you have a wonderful time at Cornell and will find time to drop me a line on your return.

Max & I are planning to go to see Aunt Mildred and will try and get in touch with the children.

Love and kisses to you from your
Loving Grandmother [Sadie Clara Rickman Fein]
