The Original Rockefeller Hall
History
Built in 1897, Rockefeller Hall was named for John D. Rockefeller Sr, a benefactor of the College. It burned down in December 1922 just before the start of Christmas vacation. Until a new dormitory was built, the Blanchard gymnasium was turned into temporary student quarters.
