The Elizabeth Bailey Letters

History

These letters were written by Elizabeth ("Liz") Bailey, mostly to her parents in Syracuse NY. (There are a few stray letters to her Aunt Hattie and her brother Tom, too.) The letters cover the whole of her college years, which were rich with travel, skiing, music, and family - themes that continued to be important to her throughout her life.
