The Maria Weeden Letters

[Letter]

History

These letters were written by Maria Blanding (Hunt) Weeden, who was born in Seekonk, Mass. and later lived in Providence, RI. She was first cousins with Juliet Blanding, and mentions Juliet in at least one of her letters. Many of these letters were written to her daughter Maria Hunt Weeden Jr. x1879. Several of the letters mention Maria's good friends at the Seminary named Mary and Lizzie, but with no last names, they are hard to identify. One letter is written to Stephen R Weeden (Maria Sr's husband), and it came from another source.
